One of the benefits of Starcraft 2 is that there is no standard Starcraft 2 Protoss Build Order. You can definitely use something that others have been making and having work out for themselves, but it is extremely free because of how versatile the game is. I would recommend that you learn from experience and really get a great Starcraft 2 Protoss Build Order that works for you. However, I'm going to go over a standard start that a lot of people have recommended, and one that seems to work really well.
The Standard & Common Starcraft 2 Protoss Build Order
As soon as you begin you should send your 6 probes to get minerals. Then, get a few more until you have nine of them. The ninth one should start building up a pylon as quick as possible. Once it's done with that send it back on minerals with the rest of the probes.
When you have the 12th probe up you should get a gateway built. When you're at around 16 probes your gateway should be done, so at this point you can get a quick Zealot and start building another Pylon up.
After this is done you can get a Cybernetics Core to get some Stalkers. Keep on getting Probes and build another gateway or extractor whenever you can or want.
Very Important: From This Point You Blend Into Whatever Strategy You Use
There are so many strategies. At this point you would really figure out which one you want to use and employ that, and kind of bend your resources and rules to make it easier to do that specific strategy.
Keep It Well Rounded And You Can Defend Or Attack
If you want to be well rounded then I would passively make military units, a decent mix of them at least, while you're getting your resources together. There is nothing wrong with not specializing in something and kind of having a blanket of defense. It's really, really important to keep scouting as well so that you know what's going on with your opponents. Tons of games are lost because they didn't know what their opponent was doing - don't make the same mistakes!
